The goal of the AU Skills for Online Mastery (AUSOM) Design and Development program is to support the development of high-quality, learner-centered online and blended courses. This program is offered at least once each fall and spring semester. For participation in summer, please apply to the Design Institute .

Along with asynchronous coursework, faculty members participate in three face-to-face sessions and individual consultations with an instructional designer. A call for participants is sent at the beginning of each term with detailed information.
